The Hungarian troops stationed in Iraq continue to carry out their mission with the necessary security measures in place, the defence ministry said on Monday.
The Hungarian government has condemned a recent attack against the United States’ embassy in Baghdad, the foreign ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
“In furtherance of a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in December 2018, USAID and the Government of Hungary are proud to announce new coordinated projects for the recovery of the town of Qaraqosh in the Ninewa Plain, and in Sinjar,” USAID wrote in a statement.
