Hungarian channel ATV made an interview with Israeli Ambassador Yossi Amrani before Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s visit to Israel.
According to the ambassador, huge steps have been made recently in Israeli-Hungarian relations. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Budapest, and Orban is paying his first official visit to Israel next week. Amrani stressed that all the goals the two leaders had set last year have been reached, so it’s time to make new plans.
“Hungary and Israel are allies, partners and friends,”
the diplomat stressed. He said that Israel is grateful for Hungary’s support and Hungarians should be proud of the morals, leadership and bravery their government and diplomats show on international forums. “Hungary is morally on the right side,” Amrani added.
