Hungary’s strongest opposition party Jobbik organised a breakfast for diplomats and ambassadors on Thursday, Alfahir.hu reports.
The party’s deputy chairman and group leader Marton Gyongyosi wrote on his Facebook page that almost 30 countries were represented at the meeting. “I’m glad that the interest of the international community towards Jobbik is growing,” he added.
According to Gyongyosi, diplomats raised questions about the “government’s hate campaign” and the State Audit Office’s fine, because “the undermining of democratic parties is still not understandable for Western states”.
Jobbik has been organising meetings for diplomats in Budapest for years.
