Brussels is like Moscow in the Soviet times, Juncker is a lunatic and Orban is their biggest nightmare, Nigel Farage told Hungarian weekly Hetek.
UKIP’s former chairman and face of the Brexit campaign spoke about the EU’s future and his planned comeback to British politics. According to Farage, “no deal is still better than a bad deal” between the EU and Britain.
“I want us to be a normal country. Normal countries make their own laws, and it’s their own courts who make decisions. I want us to be like this, instead of being chained to the authoritarian and failing EU”.
According to Farage, the EU as a project is nothing but a religion and its followers are fanatics. “Viktor Orban and the new Italian government is the EU’s biggest nightmare”, he said, adding that they are more scary for the EU than he is, because they don’t want to leave the EU, but to change it.
Farage stressed that if the EU’s decision makers won’t listen to the Hungarian, Polish, Czech or Italian voters, the EU can fall apart.
