There haven’t been ministerial level meetings between the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the US Department of State since 2012, but according to Index.hu‘s sources, Peter Szijjarto meets Mike Pompeo on May 30.
The Hungarian ministry hasn’t confirmed this information, but Index’s correspondent Szabolcs Panyi received confirmation from two separate sources.
In his article, he also writes that an advisor to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Jeno Megyesy met Donald Trump’s national security advisor, John Bolton this week.
Szijjarto announced last week that US Assistant Secretary of State Wess Mitchell visits Budapest on May 23.
At the same time, on the invitation of a Hungarian public foundation, Steve Bannon and Milo Yiannopoulos hold lectures in Budapest.
