The Slovak prime minister congratulated Viktor Orban on his re-election as prime minister, in a letter, Orban’s press chief said on Friday.
Peter Pellegrini highlighted the results recently achieved in bilateral cooperation, which he said benefitted the people of both countries, Bertalan Havasi cited the letter as saying.
The Slovak premier welcomed the progress made in developing cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, energy, culture and social relations.
He expressed hope that Slovak-Hungarian ties will further thrive within the Visegrad Group and within the EU as well.
Havasi confirmed to MTI that the re-elected Hungarian prime minister will pay his first official foreign visit to Warsaw, on Monday. After Poland, Orban travels to Israel in a few weeks, Hungarian weekly Hetek has learnt. Israeli Ambassador Yossi Amrani confirmed this information.
