Orban thanks voters for participation

Prime Minister Viktor Orban has thanked voters who participated in Hungary’s April 8 general election, the Government Information Office said on Sunday.

The prime minister expressed his gratitude in a letter to citizens living either in Hungary or beyond the border who have opted to be contacted by the government.

In his letter Orban told voters that on April 8, Hungary had decided that it does not want to become and “immigrant country” and that it would “use every means to uphold its security and culture”. The prime minister also reassured voters that he would use every means at his disposal to enforce the will of the Hungarian people.
