The result of the Hungarian elections “frustrates” the members of the European Parliament, so they are waging nonsense attacks against Hungary, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto told Kossuth radio.
According to Szijjarto, the draft report on Hungary by the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) “is a bunch of patent lies which disregards facts and reality”. “We have rebutted these statements a hundred times”, he added.
Szijjarto stressed that facts and reality are not important in Judith Sargentini’s report. He stressed that facts contradict the accusations that NGO’s are being oppressed in Hungary or that the country hasn’t done enough against anti-Semitism.
“If we didn’t resist, the European Parliament would have already implemented the Soros plan,” Szijjarto said.
