Fidesz won the absolute majority of votes

According to the latest data published on the Valasztas.hu official website, the ruling Fidesz-KDNP alliance’s national party list won 50.32%, with 98.96% of the votes counted.

Following are the results of votes cast for national party lists in April 8’s general election with 98.96 percent of the votes counted:

    1. FIDESZ-KDNP (50,32 percent, 2 722 729  votes) – 134 seats
    2. JOBBIK (19,04 percent, 1 030 376 votes) – 25 seats
    3. MSZP-PARBESZED (12,06 percent, 652 736 votes) – 20 seats
    4. LMP (6,79 percent, 367 162 votes) – 8 seats
    5. DK (5,45 percent, 295 040 votes) – 9 seats

According to the latest projection, Fidesz-KDNP appears set for a two-thirds majority in parliament.
