Commenting in a Facebook video posting on Friday after an European Union summit on Thursday evening discussing migration, Prime Minister Viktor Orban insisted that “Hungary has won time” in terms of the deadline for implementing mandatory quotas.
“I made clear we will not accept any kind of proposal for mandatory quotas,”
Orban said in the video posted on Friday.
“As long as I’m prime minister, the chance of an agreement is zero.” “Today we have won.”
He said the “decisive battle” would take place in June. “Then there’ll have to be lads on the ramparts.”
