The two parties will have joint candidates, a joint list, and their prime ministerial candidate is Gergely Karacsony, the Dialogue’s chairman.
The congress of the socialists approved the candidacy of Gergely Karacsony, who is the Dialogue party’s chairman and the mayor of Budapest’s 14th district. They also approved the individual candidates and the joint list. The list is led by Karacsony, followed by MSZP chairman Gyula Molnar. One of the leaders of the Hungarian Liberal Party (Liberalisok), Anett Bosz gets the 15th place on the list, while neither the party’s chairman, veteran liberal politician Gabor Fodor nor their logo will be on the list.
