Berlin’s standpoint on migration could change – Bakondi

“The composition of the new German government could change Berlin’s standpoint on migration”, the Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister said on Kossuth Radio’s early morning “180 Minutes” program on Thursday.

Gyorgy Bakondi declared that Hungary has never been and is still not a partner in enabling huge numbers of illegal immigrants to enter Europe, or with relation to the fact that “based on a decision by Brussels Hungary should shortly become an immigrant country with the same problems that Western Europe would currently like to get rid of”.

With relation to the draft of the UN’s migration treaty, he spoke about the fact that according to the United Nations Organisation migration is “a good thing and is unstoppable”, whereas according to Hungary’s standpoint it is “a bad thing and can be stopped”.

Speaking later on Hungarian M1 television’s Thursday morning current affairs program, Bakondi said that once the analysis of the draft migration package had been put before the cabinet it will have to decide whether Hungary will take part in the series of negotiations on the package, because the document that was released on Monday does not correspond fully to the previous statements made by the organisation’s Secretary General, which are, however, extremely similar to the “Soros Plan”.
