The Dutch Party of Freedom’s (PVV) chairman Geert Wilders held a private, informal discussion with Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
Wilders reported about the meeting on his Twitter account, from Orban’s side there was no communiqué. According to Hungarian daily Magyar Nemzet, they had a lunch together. Wilders told Dutch daily De Telegraaf he was very happy to meet Orban, with whom they fight together against Islamisation, to preserve the European culture. “Orban said Hungary is not a Muslim country, but a Christian country, and he wants it remain like that,” Wilders said. He told Hungary’s prime minister that millions of Europeans agree with him.
During the weekend, Geert Wilders presented the Hungarian edition of his book, Marked for Death (Halállistán) in Budapest, Debrecen, Nyiregyhaza, Gyor and Sopron.
