The government doesn’t want Hungary to turn into an immigrant country, it’s a national strategy decision, the Minister of Human Capacities Zoltan Balog said in EchoTv’s programme on Thursday evening. According to the minister, the approach to solve workforce problems by family policies pays off.
Regarding family policy, he stressed the number of new marriages is increasing in Hungary, young people are starting to understand that it’s good to live in a family and that a marriage is a more stable framework for the couple and the children too. Balog promised to widen family policy support.
According to the minister, the Ministry of Human Capacities (EMMI) is the biggest ministry in Hungarian history, its main goal is cooperation. He said they concentrate on national strategy goals and there are no struggles about what to spend money on, familes or health care.
