Prime Minister Viktor Orban met Ana Brnabic, his Serbian counterpart, for talks in Budapest on Tuesday.

They agreed their respective governments will hold a joint session next February, the Hungarian prime minister’s press office told MTI. Orban and Brnabic established that the preparations for a southern natural gas corridor were on track.

The talks also covered Hungary’s support for Serbia in its efforts to join the European Union, as well as the upgrade of the Budapest-Belgrade rail line. Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto attended the meeting.
