Relations between Hungary and Croatia, which are largely good, must be further improved, the speaker of Hungary’s parliament said after talks with his Croatian counterpart on Tuesday.
At a joint press conference held with Gordan Jandrokovic in Parliament, Laszlo Kover said it was “unrealistic” that the sole issue dominating bilateral relations had been the dispute around Hungary’s state oil company Mol and its Croatian peer INA. Hungary and Croatia have many more issues on which they can work in partnership, he said.
Jandrokovic said Croatia had an interest in working in close cooperation with Hungary.
